Customs Brokerage Rates

New rates will take effect December 23, 2024, for select shipments cleared within the UPS® Global Freight Forwarding network.

2025 Rate Information for International Forwarding Shipments

United States

The following changes will take effect December 23, 2024 for imports into the United States cleared by UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. Customers affected by these changes will see it on their brokerage fee schedule.

  • Entry preparation fees for air and ocean imports will increase by $4.00
  • Entry preparation fees for ground imports will increase by $1.00
  • Where applicable, the following fees will change:
    Fee Description Area of Coverage Fee Increase
    Partner Government Agency (PGA) (i.e. EPA, FDA, F&W, DOT, TTB, etc.) All modes of transportation by $0.50 for each PGA transmission
    FDA Prior Notice fee All modes of transportation by $0.50 for each Prior Notice transmission

Canada

The following changes will take effect December 23, 2024 for imports into Canada cleared by UPS SCS, Inc.:

  • Entry base fees will increase by 4.9%
  • Where applicable, the following fees will change or apply:
    Fee Description Fee Increase
    Advance disbursement fee (ADF) 3%, minimum CAD10.00 (new minimum)
    Paper invoice fee CAD7.50
