What are the ID requirements for tendering a shipment to UPS?

Consumers who originate and tender a shipment to any retail shipping location are required to show a government-issued photo ID as a form of identification such as a National Electoral Institute (INE), passport, professional or military ID. The full name on the ID must match the full name on the package label. Our application will capture your name and signature.

Do you have a code?

While we'll notify you (on shipment notifications or tracking status updates) if you need a code to pick up your package, your shipper will provide the code directly to you. The package release code is a 4-6 digit numerical code that is provided by the shipper and is different from the tracking number.
