Can I choose the time of day I want my package delivered with UPS My Choice?

If you are a UPS My Choice member or Premium member, you can pick a 2-hour confirmed delivery window from within the original 4-hour estimate. All members can choose their delivery window option two days before the scheduled delivery date until the morning of the scheduled day of delivery.

UPS My Choice members are charged a fee for every 2-hour confirmed delivery window request, though Premium members receive two free requests with their annual subscription.

Please know that we won’t charge for this service until your shipment is delivered within the confirmed window.

How can I see my past and incoming packages in the UPS My Choice dashboard?

All UPS My Choice members can see UPS packages from the past four months, as well as packages scheduled for delivery, in a convenient calendar view.

If you have more than one address associated with your membership, the calendar will show deliveries going to those addresses as well.

You can add addresses to your membership at any time in your UPS My Choice preferences.

Can UPS hold my packages while I’m on vacation?

Yes, if you’re a UPS My Choice member, The UPS Store and other UPS Access Point locations can hold your package for up to seven calendar days at no additional charge. Customer centers can hold your package for up to five business days.

If it’s more convenient, you can also leave your package with a neighbor or, in some instances, send to another address. All of these arrangements can be made from UPS My Choice delivery notifications or your Delivery Planner. Depending on final location, transportation fees may apply.

Do I need an activation code to set up UPS My Choice?

If you’re required to authenticate your enrollment with your email, you may be required to do so with a UPS My Choice Activation Code. If so, a welcome letter will be sent to you by way of the postal mail service approximately 7-14 days from the day you initially enroll. Your activation code will not be valid after 45 days from the date on the letter.

An activation code is needed to verify a new membership. A UPS My Choice welcome letter is sent to the registered address of the new member. Once a membership is verified, the user has access to all available My Choice features. The delivery change option request “Delivery to Another Address” is not available if a membership is not fully authenticated.

As a new UPS My Choice member, you will be prompted to authenticate your membership by entering the activation code after you log in. A UPS My Choice Activation Code box will appear. You must select your country and enter the activation code that appears on your UPS My Choice welcome letter.

How can I see proof of delivery photos?

Proof of delivery photos can be viewed in the delivery confirmation email, auto notifications, UPS.com tracking page or on the UPS My Choice^® dashboard.

Is UPS My Choice the same as Informed Delivery?

No. UPS My Choice helps you track and manage incoming and outgoing UPS packages. Informed Delivery is a separate service offered by USPS that provides mail previews and package updates for USPS deliveries.

How do I track a UPS package without a tracking number?

Sign up for or log in to UPS My Choice. Packages connected to the addresses in your membership can automatically appear in your dashboard, so you can check where your packages are without entering each tracking number.

How do I log in to my UPS My Choice account?

Navigate to the button that says Log In. Enter the UPS ID or email address and password associated with your UPS profile to access your deliveries and account settings.

Is UPS My Choice free?

Yes. Basic UPS My Choice membership is free and includes delivery alerts, proof-of-delivery photos, package visibility, estimated delivery times and available delivery preferences. Some delivery changes have individual fees, or you can upgrade to Premium for free unlimited delivery changes.

Can I track a UPS package by address without a tracking number?

Yes, when the address is associated with your UPS My Choice membership. Eligible incoming packages can appear automatically in your dashboard, giving you UPS tracking by address without requiring you to enter a tracking number.

What is the difference between free UPS My Choice and Premium?

UPS My Choice is free and includes delivery alerts, package visibility, estimated delivery times and available delivery preferences. My Choice members have the ability to make changes to their deliveries, some of which are fee-based. UPS My Choice Premium costs $19.99 per year and provides all the free My Choice functionality plus it includes unlimited eligible delivery changes at no additional charge, plus two free confirmed two-hour delivery window requests each year. Additional transportation charges or other fees may still apply.

How do I log in to my UPS My Choice dashboard?

Visit the UPS My Choice page and select Log In. Once you’re signed in, you can view incoming and outgoing packages, follow shipment progress, see delivery updates and manage eligible deliveries from one dashboard.
