ID8000 Consumer Commodity - Air Service (49 CFR)

Effective January 1, 2013, when consumer commodities are offered for transportation by aircraft (as ID8000 Consumer Commodity) the package must be marked as a limited quantity in accordance with 49 CFR 172.315(b)(1) and labeled as a Class 9 article or substance. 49 CFR 172.315(b)(1) requires the air 'Y' limited quantity marking.
