UPS has invested more than $1 billion over the past decade since 2002 in alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles and fuelling stations. This includes all electric, hybrid electric, hydraulic hybrid, ethanol, compressed natural gas (CNG), liquified natural gas (LNG) and renewable natural gas (RNG)/biomethane vehicles. UPS operates more than 13,000 alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles across 220 countries in which we operate.
