FAQ

How long will UPS keep my parcel?
We will hold your parcel at one of our UPS Access Point for 5-7 days. However, please note that if your parcel is not picked up within 5-7 days, we will return it to the shipper. For further information regarding your parcel, you can check ups.com/track. You can also track your package through the link you receive in email notifications.
My shipment says “Out for Delivery.” What time will I get my parcel?

Generally, our drivers can deliver as late as 7 p.m. During the holiday season, our drivers may deliver even later.

If we are unable to deliver a parcel that shows a status of "out for delivery," we will try another delivery on the next business day.

How late will UPS deliver?

Parcels that are shipped through UPS Standard service are generally delivered anytime Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. (and sometimes later) to residences, and to business addresses during their normal business hours.

While UPS Standard parcels cannot be scheduled to arrive at a specific time, UPS express shipments have guaranteed delivery times that vary by service.

My shipment says it has been delivered, but I cannot find it. Where is it?

Your driver always looks for a safe and protected place to leave your parcel. You can see a photo of the exact delivery location on ups.com/track. If you still cannot find the parcel, check with a household member, concierge or a neighbour who may have received it for you. If not, contact the seller to start a claim.

Can my parcel be delivered even though I am not available to collect it from the driver?
Yes. On some occasions, UPS drivers can deliver a parcel at a private location without you needing to collect it directly from them. In this case, the driver will take a Delivery Photo of the parcel(s) they have left in a safe location at your delivery address. This is possible only under strict conditions that determine the type of parcels, geographic areas, and eligible delivery locations.
