When you ship online through UPS Internet Shipping or through UPS WorldShip® software, enhanced authentication procedures allow us to confirm your identity. Additional layers of security have been implemented for ordering supplies and for using UPS Delivery Intercept®.
Payment Card Protection
The ups.com website is encrypted with a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to protect account and payment card (for example, a debit or credit card) information. We match payment card information to the payment card billing address, and investigate any unauthorized charges that may be reported.

We use sophisticated trend and data analysis to identify fraud. Our participation in a cyberspace fraud task force keeps us well informed on the issues affecting the postal and shipping industry globally.
