Note: UPS Mail Innovations is available only if you have a contract for this service.
When working with this service, keep in mind:
Each shipment must be a single piece. The shipment navigation bar becomes inactive.
The total dimension of the package cannot exceed 130 inches. To determine this dimension, measure the package length and then add twice the width and twice the height.
The total package weight cannot exceed 70 pounds.
Using UPS WorldShip and UPS Mail Innovations, you can do the following:
Create a profile for a shipper with a UPS Mail Innovations contract. See Add a Profile.
Set shipper preferences for UPS Mail Innovations using the Shipper Editor. See Add or Modify a Shipper.
Change the tabbing order of the fields on the Customs Documentation tab using the Tab Order Editor. See Create a Custom Tab Order.
Change the Tariff Code box on the Goods grid from optional to required using the Required Field Set Editor. See Create a Required Field Set.
Note: All other fields on the Goods grid are already required.
Create a shipment using the Shipping window, but with a few modifications. See Process a UPS Mail Innovations Shipment.
Print labels and documents. See Print or Reprint UPS Mail Innovations Labels and Documents.
Close out your shipments. See Close Out UPS Mail Innovations Shipments.
Note: Each time you close out UPS Mail Innovations shipments, UPS WorldShip transmits your shipment data to UPS.
